Welcome to the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Student Group at UWM! At UWM, we are very fortunate to have a student group and want to share it with you! Our goals are to provide student designers with tools, experiences, and community amongst other designers at school, locally, and nationally. Whether you're already a part of AIGA-UWM or wanting to learn more, our site offers an overview of the things we do as an organization on Campus. AIGA-UWM is a group of students that are all united by one thing: our love for design. We use the group as a way to exchange ideas and information while gaining experience and getting some really cool benefits! Students in AIGA will discover a unique vantage point on the profession and a door to job prospects... and you get to meet professionals in the field! Being a member of AIGA and attending events at the local, state, and national level provides resources designed to stimulate thinking about design, demonstrate value of design to businesses, and empower designers for success. We are a passionate group of artists and designers that are interested in broadening UWM and Milwaukee's awareness of the importance of design. We aspire to build a community of inspired and resourceful designers.
